Pete Nataraj
Pete is a Captain of the A380 Airbus with 27 years’ aviation experience.

Pete has held pilot recruitment roles and tested training courses for both Airbus and the European regulator

He has trained pilots in Human Factors for 13 years, developing and delivering training for Air Traffic Controllers. He has also presented to the Safety Team Operational Safety Group (SAFOPS) Eurocontrol Safety Team

Pete has authored papers on Human Factors for the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RCOG)

He is also a consultant to the Scottish Football Association (SFA) and Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL)

He holds a BEng (Hons) in Civil and Environmental Engineering.


Mark Parbhoo
Mark is a British Airways airline Captain on the B787 with a career in aviation spanning over 30 years.

Alongside his flying duties, over the past 20 years, Mark has become increasingly fascinated with Human Factors, and why highly experienced professionals make errors

He holds an MSc in Human Factors and has taught widely in aviation and air traffic control, medicine, veterinary medicine, and engineering

Today he determines British Airways Human Factors policy, standards and training, continuing to advance safety and performance through a deeper understanding of human behaviour and decisions

As a commercial pilot, Mark has flown the Boeing 737, 747-400, 757, 767, 787 and Airbus 320. He has instructed newly qualified and experienced pilots and been a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) examiner.

He holds a BEng (Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering.
Matthew West
Matthew is a Boeing 787 Dreamliner airline captain, enjoying a 27-year career as a commercial airline pilot.

Matt has spent 17 of those years as a captain; gathering extensive short and long-haul experience. In addition to the Boeing 787, he has flown the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320

He also trains flight crew in Crew Resource Management and Human Factors. He has developed and delivered training to a number of organisations, including NHS England and Circle Health

He has also created training courses for pilot rostering software and making effective public addresses

After completing a BSc in Cybernetics at Reading University, Matthew was responsible for inhouse IT solutions for a UK charity before pursuing his aviation career.


Alex Withey
Alex has 15 years’ experience as an independent consultant, advising asset management and private credit businesses.

After serving in the British Army, Alex became a consultant at Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC)

He then worked as a fixed income trader and derivative specialist for 13 years at Deutsche Bank, Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) and Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS)

He was Head of UK Pensions & Insurance, in the Global Banking & Markets division at RBS
-
In 2000, he co-founded SEO London, a diversity recruiting and mentoring charity, where he served on the Board for eight years.

He has a BA Hons in War Studies from King’s College, London.
